Probably the most popular multiday trek in whole Georgia and for a good reason - not too long, accesible and still provides great views and passes several traditional Svanetian villages.

Shorter version of Mestia - Tsvirmi hike. It climbs onto Zuruldi range and offers phenomenal views of some of the most prominent peaks of Caucasus such as Ushba, Tetnuldi and Layla.

Trek to Tobavarchkhili lake

This trek crosses Egrisi mountains, which separate Svaneti from Samegrelo lowlands. It doesn't come close to the highest mountains of Caucasus, but that's fully compensated by it's very diverse environment. High passes, magical lakes, rocky gorges, waterfalls, shepherds huts, remote valleys - this trek has it all.

Trek from Mestia to Ushguli via Tsvirmi

Alternative of the most popular Georgian trek, which is by mine opinion even better than standard hike via Zhabeshi. Its main advantage are much better views on the first day, when it climbs onto Zuruldi massif.

Trek to the Udziro lake

The wonderful trek which would be way more popular if it didn’t lie at the very end of Racha. It climbs to the small alpine lake lying at the elevation of 2800m - in a good weather, there is a great view of Caucasus panorama.

This beautiful, but very demanding trek takes you to some of the most remote parts of Caucasus. It follows the old road, which once connected Zeskho village in Svaneti with Ghebi village in Racha, but fell into disrepair long time ago.

Trek to Buba and Tbilisa glaciers

A longer version of the hike to the Buba glacier. This one crosses the Buba river, traverses to the Tbilisa glacier and returns to Shovi via Mamisoni road. Pretty solid trek, though not the best around as almost half of the trail follows the dirt road.

This little known walk takes you through the valley of Intsra river to a pretty nice waterfall. It doesn’t belong to top sights of Georgia, but if you happen to be in Zugdidi with some extra time and desire to get away from crowds, it is an interesting option.
